Pramod Saxena, gauged the potential in the Indian mobile space way back in 2003. By the time he started operations in Oxigen (July, 2004), he was certain that the mobile handset would play a far more important role than just being a communication device in the hands of people and it would have a transformative impact on the lives of the masses of India. His vision was to cater to service fulfilment for the middle to low income classes in the country in their neighborhood, with a low margin and high volume oriented business model. This company thus started off with mobile recharges on its network and subsequently added more services to its bouquet with each passing year, such as DTH recharges, bill and subscription payments, air, rail, bus travel, entertainment subscriptions, online shopping and more. Read more

He spearheaded a team of young professionals to launch the Oxigen Mobile Wallet and Online Services.


Technology innovation is at the core of Oxigen’s business. Sunil Kulkarni is referred to as the techno-savvy mind behind developing and delivering Oxigen Technology for various services & products including Oxigen Wallet, which is an innovative payment mechanism and prepaid wallet accessible online/on-mobile. He successfully led the company's development & growth from a recharge/billpay company to an integrated Recharge & Money Transfer Payment Solution company. He is now responsible for taking the company to its next greenfield opportunity in Banking , Domestic & International Remittances, Mobile Wallets, Merchant Payments, IMPS and Aadhaar Enabled Payments, to propel Oxigen into its next growth phase.


Sunil joined took charge of Oxigen Services (known as India Prepaid Services Pvt Ltd in 2004) as CEO in April 2004, to launch in India, the first e-Distribution Network for mobile recharge coupons’ dispensation over Point of Sale (POS) terminals, PC and SMS and has 31 years of technology & Fintech related enriching experience.

Prior to joining Oxigen, Sunil served as General Manager-Marketing & Business Development in Motorola India’s Wireless Infrastructure business for 9 years. He looked after Business Development, Business Strategy and Product Marketing functions for GSM & CDMA wireless technologies. He started his professional journey in 1986 with Siemens Ltd., where he last served as the Head of Semi-Conductor Division.


As Sunil’s brief portfolio above suggests, it’s no surprise that he not only holds a Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, from MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur, but is also a Gold medalist.


Rajpal Singh Duggal

Rajpal Singh Duggal is responsible for Corporate Strategy and Planning. He has been instrumental in developing an aggressive push for rural markets and developing the financial inclusion strategy. This has given Oxigen an impressive growth in overall business and profitability over the last 7 years.

Rajpal is also credited with successfully leading a multi-departmental team to develop a new low cost POS/Micro ATM terminal. As on date more than 50,000 of both these terminals have been placed in the market and are operating successfully. As it turns out to be, these terminals are now the backbone of Oxigen’s new business growth strategy for the future.

Rajpal was appointed as the Vice Chairman of Sahyog Foundation, in October 2011, which spearheads Oxigen’s CSR initiatives. He guides and mentors the company's CSR activities. Over the past 4 years Oxigen has made a positive impact on the lives of several thousands of people through interventions in health, education, vocational training and livelihood, in rural locations of India.

With over 45 years of working experience in a diverse industry segments, Rajpal, an MBA (Finance) from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi University, started his career as a Management Trainee with the DCM Group where he worked for 10 years. He handled Commercial, Finance and development of MIS. He then joined the Raunaq Group (Apollo Tyres) working with a diverse portfolio of functions from Finance to Sales & Marketing. His last position was Vice President Business Development handling identification of new project ideas, foreign collaboration and JV’s and management of the JV’s at operational phase. He had been in the forefront of innovative financial solutions including fund raising from banks and financial institutions.

As an Entrepreneur he established India’s first ever discount format retail store called Discount Circuit, when India did not have any large format retail stores. His large format stores in NCR, 4 of them, had a successful response. This is now being restructured on a web format.

Rajpal is passionate about social causes and is involved in three NGO’s namely Literacy India (www.literacyindia.org), Saksham (www.saksham.org) and Muskaan. He had been an active Rotarian and is involved in conceptualizing and implementing several community service projects.


Meher Sarid

Meher Sarid has 26 years of rich experience in Corporate Management, Business Management, Brand, Design, Communications and Personnel management.
Meher joined Oxigen, in 2006 as a Creative Director for Oxigen Infovision’s value added service, Bugzy. She developed the Business, managed its Digital Mktg. Campaigns, SEO, WAP, Web solutions & Content aggregation. This went on to become OxiCash and now known as Oxigen Wallet.

As a Brand Custodian she spearheads brand placement, positioning and brand communication. She manages the association with Oxigen’s Brand Ambassador Sachin Tendulkar. All B2B and B2C brand led Market Communication (Social, TV, Radio, On ground) for Rural and Urban India are part of her portfolio. Meher has been working to bring about a cultural change in the organization to inculcate a "Customer friendly and People First" attitude. She leads Oxigen Group’s Human Resources team and oversees Talent Management and Development, Building the Organization Culture and makes innovative changes in Strategic HR Initiatives.

Prashant Verma

Prashant Verma was one of the first few people to join Oxigen in 2004. He was responsible to have built the Oxigen’s Retail footprint by setting up the Oxigen’s Distributor and Retailer network. A thorough Sales person, he appointed a versatile and passionate sales team to manage and lead Oxigen's ever expanding footprint of retailers.

In 2011, he set up the Business Correspondent Kiosk banking touch points (CSP) for Oxigen at retail. In 2013, Prashant was made responsible for the management of end-to-end Customer Service Delivery process for Oxigen. In this portfolio, he managed Customer Resolutions, Call Center Management, KYC Processing, Trading Advance for Retail Networks, Purchases and more. In December 2014, Prashant built and launched Oxigen's in house Customer Engagement Center, which provides call centre support for Oxigen's vast Pan India Retail and CSP Business.

In 2015, we decided to build stand alone branded Oxigen Stores which would be in various formats like Company Owned Company Operated (COCO), Company Owned Franchisee Operated (COFO) and named them OXIGEN WORLD. At these outlets we provide Micro ATM lead Oxigen Services of Branchless Banking, AEPS Aadhaar Pay - Cash In - Cash Out, Oxigen Money Transfer, Utility Bill Payments (BBPS), Recharge Services. These outlets also act as a hub to service traditional retailers of Oxigen to fulfill their Trade Advance needs.

Prashant brings with him over 30 years of hardcore Sales and Distribution experience. In the past, Prashant has worked with well-known business houses within the country. Prominent amongst them are his stints with Essar Group and Dishnet DSL Limited. At Essar, he was associated with setting up of the distribution network of Essar Cellphone for their telecom arm in Delhi. At Dishnet DSL, he was instrumental in Launching DSL in Delhi and organizing the internet business of the company into a profitable proposition.

Prashant completed his Diploma in Marketing from William’s Business College, Sydney, Australia in 1992. He is a Bachelor of Science graduate from Jabalpur University.

Sachin Goel
Executive Director - Finance

Sachin Goel a chartered accountant, joined Oxigen in 2014 as a Finance Controller & Deputy CFO and is currently appointed as a Executive Director - Finance, in CFO position. He oversees the finance and accounting system of Oxigen Group of Companies .

 

He is pro-active and result oriented with a broad experience in all aspects of accounting and financial management. He has experience in budgeting, financial reporting and analysis, cost reduction, revenue building, inventory valuation, risk management and corporate governance. He sees the big picture and plans appropriate strategies to achieve best results. Competent in identifying & resolving problems to maximize productivity. He also has experience of working in International business environments and managing multi-cultural teams.


He is responsible for financial management of the company including Revenue Assurance, Cost Control & Payments, Revenue Management, P & L, Treasury, Taxation & Compliance, Company Secretarial, Legal and overall financial statement.

2007- June 2014 - KAEFER Isoliertechnik Gmbh & Co. KG (Germany): as a Group Controller (Asia Pacific including Middle East) within the Controlling department responsible for 17 operative companies with a turnover of approximately 2400 Crores INR. Additionally, during his stint with Kaefer, he underwent one year KAEFER Group certified Leadership Program in 2010 -2011, which is conducted in association with one of the world's leading Organization, Development and Training consulting company, Coverdale.

 

2004- Jan 2007 - He worked at Price Waterhouse Coopers as Senior Associate in the Audit and Business Advisory Services.

 

Sachin is a a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (2000- 2003) and a Commerce graduate from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, India (1999 - 2002).

Ashutosh Srivastava

Ashutosh Srivastava has over 29 years of cross functional Operations experience spanning various industries such as Telecom/FMCG, Consumer Durables, Advertising, Market Research etc.

 

Ashutosh joined Oxigen in 2015 as an Executive Director for Retail Sales Operations. He is responsible for the entire gamut of Retail Operations at the National Level.


He has a proven track record across various domains and has expertise in the fields of Operations management. During his career, he has worked in diverse work environments (American & Japanese MNCs; Large Indian Conglomerates and Start-ups). He has rich experience in services related to customer centricity & has contributed towards innovative customer service solutions. He is also experienced in the domain of Strategic Planning & Team Building. In the past, he has successfully launched multiple Products such as Kodak Cameras & Batteries, Reliance DTH, Bridgestone, Zip Telefone & Reliance Telecom services.

 

Past experiences:

 

His last assignment was as CEO for Reliance DTH. Prior to that, he was part of the Telecom set-up in Reliance. In his long, illustrative career, Ashutosh has worked in top notch Corporates before joining Oxigen – Kodak India Ltd., Reliance Communications, Zip Telefone, Bridgestone, Ceat & ORG. He has successfully set-up Organisation & Distribution structures, from scratch, in each of his assignments. Amongst his most successful launches has been the “Reliance DTH” which notched up the fastest subscriber base, anywhere in the world, of One million within a span of 85 days. He was also responsible for naming of Kodak Cameras in India as “Kodak Kroma”.

 

He pursued his MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Jaipur. Ashutosh has been a National Level Squash player and is an avid long distance cyclist.

Sanjay Srivastava

Sanjay joined the Oxigen family as an Executive Director.

 

Sanjay Srivastava is taking care of online business for merchants acquisition and hyperlocal retail connect for online business including Smart India Project.

Sanjay is responsible to build a strong retail network of off line stores for Oxigen wallet Acceptance. Additionally, executing O2O initiatives , adding Cash Loading + e-KYC Points to this retail network, as well.

 

On behalf of Oxigen Wallet, he looks at innovative ways to leverage our traditional retail distribution, for the purpose of wallet usage and loading.

 

With a 26 years of experience in the gamut of Marketing, Process Planning, Sales & Distribution, Training/Mentoring and Key Account Management, he has been successful in contributing to business strategy, project management & business development with esteemed organizations.

 

He started his professional journey with TELCO and transitioned into management roles with Nestle, Motorola, Jagatjit Industries, Assam Company Ltd. before taking up challenging roles as a National Sales Head for Zee group/ DishTV /Quickcalls Pvt. Ltd. and Tata Sky.

 

He has also been on the Faculty board of IILM as a Professor for Marketing & Sales.

 

In 1982, he graduated in Mechanical Engineering from REC Bhopal.

 

In 1986,he completed his Masters in Management from IIM Bangalore.

 

In 1990 he completed his M.Sc in Automation from the prestigious Imperial College, London.

Subir Ghosh is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience across a diverse range of consumer oriented businesses like Telecom, Retail and Consumer Goods. He headed key functions like Sales Marketing, Customer Care, Customer lifecycle management and have also held COO& CEO roles. He specializes in creating data driven business enhancement strategies & memorable stakeholder experiences using process tool & data lead insights. He was instrumental in the creation of an unique institution dedicated to the science of Customer Experience (ICEM) in partnership with the Service Quality Centre of Singapore and IIM Indore.

 

Subir joined Oxigen in June 2014 and was then responsible for Sales in Maharashtra & South India. In 2016, he was assigned to lead revenue growth for Oxigen. He used data insights to aid the optimization of the Oxigen retail business by providing actionable tools to manage numerous stakeholders namely retailers, distributors & the company’s sales personnel. Subir has lead the development of the ONTAP business dashboards that enables the various geographical retail management units to monitor & manage all the key performance metrics in real time thereby significantly enhancing the operating efficacy& output of the a Retail Business Unit

His past experience encompasses founding India’s largest specialty retail chain The Mobile Store & also founding the first institution dedicated to the science of customer experience The Institute of Customer Experience Management in collaboration with the Service Quality Centre of Singapore.

Krishna Bihari Lal

Krishna Bihari Lal has 50 years of deep knowledge and rich experience in Information Technology, Systems and Processes, Wireless Technology, Mobile Networks Switch Technology and Mobile Telecommunications . He had lived the era of business transformation, from manual systems to integrated, technically advanced complex systems, OMC (operation management centers). He joined Oxigen in March 2013, as the Chief Information Security Officer for Oxigen group of Companies , looking after IT Processes Controls and Cyber security . He also in an internal systems auditor for the Oxigen group of companies, ensuring employees are conforming to the IT policy and process. Oxigen has gained its ISO standard certification (ISO : 27001) under his able stewardship. He also manages the Security of our platform that provides wallet services to its customers

 

In the past he has worked with the following companies,

 

2007 till 2012- Chief Executive Officer, Infinite Telesolutions Pvt Ltd, a company dealing in RF optimization of Mobile Networks. Infinite was an engineering services company in the Wireless and Telecom space, set up by Mr. Pramod Saxena.

 

2002 till 2007 - HFCL as President, R&D and was looking after the R&D activities in. Apart from implementation of a World Bank aided project for the Government, he was also responsible for development of two products, one of which was developed with the collaboration of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

 

2000 to 2002 - Chief Operating Officer, M/S HITL, Punjab - HITL is the CLEC in the State of Punjab, India and provides wireless as well as wireline services. As the first COO of the company his responsibilities included, Network planning, including the planning of switching Centers, wireless and wireline nodes, Outside plant and RF towers, Equipment installation and commissioning and Operationalization of in house OSS. The core network was installed and commissioned in a short period of six months. A team of about 120 engineers was working on this project.

 

1995 to 2000 - Senior Vice President, Essar Commvision Ltd. September: Responsible for Preparing a basic network plan for the Punjab circle, for which Essar was identified for award of license for providing basic telecom services. The project was eventually acquired by the HFCL group in early 2000, therefore Mr lal moved to HFCL as their COO in HFCL Infotel Limited
